Sessions and Level Break Down

The summer swimming program will operate 4 (two-week) sessions. Each session will meet Monday through Friday with classes starting on the hour as follows:

Session I: 5:30pm and 6:30pm (if there are enough participants)

Session I-III Times: 9:00 a.m., 10:00 a.m., 11:00 a.m., 12:00 p.m., 1:00 p.m., 2:00 p.m., 3:00 p.m.

Session IV Times: 9:00 a.m., 10:00 a.m., 11:00 a.m., 12:00 p.m.

The session dates are as follows:

· Session I: June 11 ​- June 22

· Session II: June 25 ​- July 13 ​(​No swim classes July 2 - July 6​)

· Session III: July 16 - ​July 27

· Session IV:​ July 30 - August 10

Levels of Instruction offered are:

A.​ Pre-​Beginners ​(Level I)

B. Beginners ​(Level II)

C. Advanced Beginners (Level III)

D. Intermediates ​(Level IV) 

E. Swimmer (​ Level V) (Only offered at 9:00, 11:00, & 1:00)

F. Advanced Swimmer ​(Level VIa) (Offered at 10:00, 12:00, 2:00) 

G. Springboard Diving ​(Level VIb) Session 1: - 3:00 p.m. ONLY maximum of 12 students

Session 1 Evening Offerings:

5:30 p.m. ​– Pre-Beginner, Beginner, Advanced Beginner, Intermediate, Swimmer

6:30 p.m​. – Beginner, Advanced Beginner, Intermediate, Advanced Swimmer

H. Advanced Stroke Development ​(Junior and Senior High) This class is designed to offer techniques and training necessary for competitive swimming teams. Participants must be able to swim 50 meters unassisted. The focus is on teaching and refining the fundamental skills of strokes, starts, and turns. You will also learn and incorporate many types of training methods into your swimming.

Time: ​7:00 a.m. – 8:45 a.m.

Days: M​onday -Thursday 

Date:​ June 11- July 26 (No swim classes July 2 - ​July 6)

There is no cost to WRPS residents to Register for Summer Swim Lessons and Advanced Stroke Clinic.

There is a $40 registration for all Non-WRPS resdidents to register for summer swim lessons. This $40 fee is per session, per child.  Payment IS DUE at registration. 

AGE REQUIREMENT: All children enrolled MUST be 5 years old and potty trained.
